Is there a way to go back to the old way of just showing all captured pieces?

Going to +1 this as well. The old way makes more sense; in a real game you see all of the captured pieces beside the board. If we're emulating a real chess board and pieces, then the captured pieces should follow suit.

Slightly related is the highlights for last moved piece and check. I liked the old method - a circular highlight that faded to completely transparent near the edges - much better than the new solid colour highlight of the whole square. Would like an option to switch this back as well.

Pretty sure an option for the highlight style is coming along, but it's being written by a third party.

I also prefer the old highlights and also the old noise when the pieces are captured. It would be nice if there was sound options to captured pieces and options of highlights(the old style and this new one).
Innovations are welcome but would be nice keep the good things that we are used to it.( the previous highlights and the previous sound of captured pieces). Thanks for this site ! I really like to play here.
