My Experience in the Kazakhstan Cup Second Chance (Stage 1)

I played in a few of the arenas with big competition. I knew I had no chance of winning any of the tournaments, but I decided to play it anyways.

ARENA 6

I read the post with the info about this the day before the tournament. When I woke up the next morning, I logged in to Lichess and joined the tournament. My first game was not good. I lost both of my first 2 games. After that I got a win, which added 2 points to myself. The next game was a loss, and I kind of started to berserk. The good news is that I won my game, so 3 points added. I drew my next game and lost not only 2 games in a row, but 4 GAMES! Then I won 2 games in a row with berserk on, so 6 points. As I was trying to achieve my first streak in the tournament, I lost 2 games in a row. I started a pattern, 3,0,0,3,0,0,3,3,0,0,3,0,0,3,0,0,3. Then when the tournament was ending, the worst thing happened, I LOST 5 GAMES IN A ROW! Then the tournament ended. I ended with 33 points and 473rd place out of 3735 players. I was pretty happy about the results (I am only a 1700 player).

ARENA 8

I played this tournament today, and this is how it went. First, I had the worst start possible, I lost my first 5 GAMES :( Then I won 1 game, lost 1, then won 2 in a row. As I was aiming for a streak, something happened ... I WON!!! I got my first streak in the whole tournament. I was so happy. Then I lost 2 more games. After that, my luck came back! I won 2 games in a row, then won again and got a second streak! I lost the next game sadly. Then, the weirdest thing happened, I got 3 draws in a row. I was like WHAT?! I then won a game and lost a game. Then I hit the jackpot (in my opinion) I got my 3rd streak of the day. The tournament was nearing the end, as I lost 3 games in a row. I then won a game, lost a game, then got my final win in the tournament. In the last game, I lost. Overall, I was happy about the results. It was a fun and competitive tournament as I faced multiple 2000's and also had opponents who put up a really good fight. The final result was good up to me, as I came 414th place of 3240 players. Thank you, a lot, for spending time reading this blog, as this is my first one. This is only part 1 of the tournament. I will make a part 2 for arena 9,10,11,12 (depending on what I play).
