My range is set to 2150-...
But from time to time I get paired with people below that range down to 2000.
Are you clicking on quick game? Think it pairs without a range if you do that. You need to do a seek in the lobby to get the range you want.
Let me guess: It happens after you clicked "new opponent" after a finished game. Afaik the formula only applies when you search from the lobby.
Yeah, too bad "quick game" does not use that saved values, as when creating a new game with rating range it still redirects to the "quick game" tab.
The redirecting is just stupid and should be removed. If I want to do a lobby seek, please allow me to a lobby seek.
Of course this feature is dumb and should be removed. I fully agree with the crowd.
