Piece Movement - Single Click Entry

I use both Lichess and ChessBase quite often, and a small matter (for me at least) that bother me quite a bit seems to be fluidity of my piece movement. This is especially the issue when I play blitz. On ChessBase, there is this "Single Click Entry" function which basically works by clicking the destination square of the piece I want to move. If I click a square to which only one piece can move it will immediately move there. If more than one piece can move to the square then I would have select that piece for the move to be executed. I was wondering if this feature could be implemented into Lichess as well to enhance my near perfect experience here. Thanks in advance!!
Damn Sounds like a nice feature lol. Will it be hard to implement this thoe?
This is called smartmove on other servers and it is actually banned on at least one of them because it is a form of computer assistance.

The reason is it can become a contentious issue in really fast games (which are very popular here). When players are trying to move quickly, just being able to click a square and hoping a piece can move there can get you out of a time jam, while finding legal moves yourself is part of the skill of fast games of chess that is being put to the test.

A second way smartmove can be implemented is clicking on a piece that only has one legal move, and it has the same problem.

I'm not saying it should or shouldn't be implemented, as I don't really care (I almost never play fast games as I just don't like them). I'm just bringing up an issue that has been contentious for well over a decade on this particular subject on other servers.

Smartmove is explicitly against the rules on FICS, and here is the relevant section of their help topic on it:

12. Giving (whether requested or not) or using assistance (whether other
players, books, articles, notes, databases or unauthorized computers (see
below)) while playing rated games with or without the opponents
permission, even if the opponent is a computer. This also extends to
unrated games unless the opponent has given their permission before the
game (though unauthorized computers may still not be used (see below)).
Unregistered users are exempt, but out of courtesy should inform their
opponent of the situation if it is not clear.

Assistance includes (provided by any means) move/plan suggestion,
position/move/plan evaluation and list of legal and illegal moves as well
as list of pieces protected or unprotected. In short, it includes any
information that can be used to make a move or set of moves during a game.
If you are using an interface that provides any information listed above,
you must disable it while playing on the server. The interface may provide
assistance in making a move (such easy to click/drag pieces, and/or a
pre-drag/pre-move option) but may not provide assistance in deciding a move
(such as displaying legal moves, making "smartmoves".)
Woah, I never knew there was so much debate about this issue. I just thought it would have been a nice addition. I guess this addition will be unlikely then.
