Some games to laugh at

@Masquerade
If I may share a few games ? :)
In the 3+2 tourney just now I played a few fun games.

In this one I messed up the opening, but then I thought I had a checkmate tactic, which turned out to be a fata morgana instead.
In the end, after a little tactic, my opponent did overlook a checkmate nevertheless.

In this game I almost won a rook, and then decided impulsively to sac a rook in return! An exciting game.

HTH!
@achja do you have any 90+ minute long games to share? 3+2 is crazy. Lots of blunders! lots of falling pieces, missing checks, illegal moves...crazy.
Hey man. Believe me I've had many many games where I wanted take a tire and beat the crap out of something. It happens and it can be frequent if one is frustrated with previous games. It's also likely in the fast games. You were playing 5+5, which although is considered "standard" on here, I personally consider it blitz. Anyway, many blunders are related to psychological matters. So if you're tired or something that could play a factor. Whatever the case, keep playing and don't give up. Also, take breaks. I find that breaks help me immensely.
@achja You are right! 90+30 should be played only over the board.

However, 10+0 is a bit too fast. I played a few games lately with a very strong player under this time control.

One of our games looked like this:

So... I made 4 blunders and won because he made 5... looked like 1300s were playing...

The other game was like this:

Here I accidentally checkmated him. I just moved a pawn to gain a tempo with the check. However, my opponent blocked the escape route for his king a move before and accidentally got checkmated.

Things like this cannot happen in 90+30 over the board games!

Therefore, the correct time for online classical chess should be somewhere in between 10+0 and 90+30..

I am not sure about what is the perfect time control for online classical games.
