Hello,
I once heard, but do NOT know if it is authentic or who the player was, that someone broke his leg playing chess.
Apparently the player had played a good move so he relaxed for a while and leaned back in his chair and casually hooked his foot round the chair leg. The opponent then played a sensational and unexpected move and the victim gasped and instinctively leapt forward from the waist up to examine the board closely; in doing so his leg was broken. I wish I knew if this has been verified.

Watched this one as well. I recall Mancini looking to the referee to step in. Always wondered if it would have changed the course of events. Mancini was one of my favorites back when boxing was worth watching.
