The friends online button is not working

Lichess the lichess friends button is not working and even though i tried to fix it only shows one freind online even though i have many friends online because i searched them up and they said they were online and it said i was following

I have the same problem. I have been doing some tests.. it appears the button does work, in some sense. The problem is it takes a very long time before the pane loads its content. At this moment it varies from 10 seconds to over a minute.

And the waiting only starts after clicking the button, which gives the impression it doesn't work at all.

And it says that i only have two friends online for some reason and i am sure that i have amany freinds online

It's probably related. It seems some server side component taking care of these requests isn't quite performing like it should.

I'm sure they'll look into it.

It seems to be working normally again. I'm not sure who took care of it, but whoever it was: thanks for the swift response!

Actually, mine doesn't work still.

I've tried signing in and out to no avail.

Yeah, seems to be broken again. It worked fine for a while a few hours ago.

I have a same problem. I have more than 2 friends. I see only 2 friends online.
