Puzzled

Puzzle 97116 is buggy. There is a definite checkmate on for computer but does not use option and leaves you then to solve the puzzle which is impossible because there is a solid concrete checkmate

Where is the checkmate?

I think that @gmasterslash misunderstands. When the computer plays Rf4 before the puzzle starts, I'm guessing that you thought the computer should have done the checkmate on h7 instead. However, the rook was on e4, blocking that checkmate. That's why the computer moved it - but too late.

Or he thought the queen could move to h7 after Rg8 - it can't, you can't put (or leave) your own king in check even if the move would checkmate your opponent.
