Curious about this game

I just played this blitz game on ICC. I am curious about feedback on it. I realize it has many blunders indicative of how much I have yet to learn about chess. But I had some fun playing it and wonder if there is anything interesting in it that others can comment on or give me advice on. I think I had a win that I let slip away, and when I imported the game into the lichess computer it had me (White) as up for most of the game. But I guess one of my later blunders led to a draw.

I dont really know what the time control was on this game, but I dont think I would have seen that mate in 8 either, you just have to sharpen your tactical ability. nice positional play however, very nice.

on a side note, I dont want to be crass, but I think from this game it was clear that you need some endgame help. I suggest this website.

Thanks, galoistheory! The time control was ICC 2 8 blitz. Yes, no way I would have seen that - even in a longer time control I probably wouldn't have, but still it was a good lesson in that I should be more patient and look more, even a few more seconds in blitz.
