So i dont think playing chess will get you a lot of girls (guys) unless a GM or something

i used to play on yahoo scrabble years ago and there seemed to be just as many men playing as women , whereas Chess sites have always been a sausage factory .

It's probably possible if you are a guy looking to meet another guy. Otherwise there are a million better options.
