annoying amazon prime advertising in streams

Try using Google Chrome. Works perfect for me.

I currently use Linux Mint it works for me Mozilla needs to be updated first. But it does work after you update mozilla

For chrome this worked for me:

1) install uBlock Origin from here: chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/ublock-origin/cjpalhdlnbpafiamejdnhcphjbkeiagm-ntp-icon

2) clear browser cache, see here:
support.google.com/accounts/answer/32050?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en

the cache needs to be cleared in order to remove cached ads.

I spoke too soon. It worked the first time but after that the ads are still there. Any suggestions?
