Why are all blog authors that appear on Lichess' main page are either titled players or patrons?

Why are all encircled users patrons, though there are few compared to other lichess users?

It is a "coincidence" or Lichess promotes the blogs of some users?

I don't think Lichess promotes patron players' blogs. Those guys are just good writers, that's all.

Titled players have more followers and are more likely to get views, which increases their blog rating.

As for the disproportionate number of patrons, it's not our doing. Some successful blog authors who use lichess to extend their reach probably consider it common courtesy to give something back. Still others may not think in those terms but nonetheless don't wand to look like freeloaders so they give a dollar too.
